Welcome! My name is Kristin, and I am the owner and instructor here at Sassy Stables. I started the business in 2010, soon after buying my Tennessee Walking Horse "Sonya" and moving here to Greenville. I grew up in Upstate NY and started English/Jumping lessons at the age of 9. We kept our horses at home so I learned at an early age how to care for and manage a stable. I also grew a love for Western style riding, and enjoy both riding styles on my horses either in the ring or on the trail. When I moved here to Greenville, I wanted to find a place where I could just "come out and ride" - and be myself. Not really a fan of the show world, I never appreciated the pressure and drama that came with that sort of atmosphere. I wanted to find a stable where people of all ages, disciplines and experience could come to learn and have fun, without the stress. I couldn't find that place - so I built it.
